Logan Airport Offering Free Wi-Fi, Adding Convenience to Travel

The Logan Airport went on a two-month trial period, offering Wi-Fi free for travelers.  The Massachusetts Port Authority gave the go ahead for free Wi-Fi services at Logan Airport as funded by a Google sponsorship.  Massport has partnered with service provider Advanced Wireless Group for two years, and free Wi-Fi services will be provided by advertising and sponsorship programs along the way.  Wi-Fi services are not new to the Logan Airport, as they were installed there about six years ago, but hitherto travelers had to pay for access.  The two-month trial period that was Googled sponsored revealed that use of the network increased by nearly six-fold.
