The number of MA home sales in November has increased with the help of the tax credit incentive. For first time home buyers, the extension of the $8,000 tax credit for home buyers until the end of November has caused many hitherto undecided to take the plunge to become a homeowner this year. In a recent report from the Massachusetts Association of Realtors, single-family home sales increased by 63 percent, with condo sales rising by 76 percent for November 2009 just in time to take advantage of the tax credit.
